A group of eight (8) level 4 medical students was assigned in Barangay Biayon, Sergio Osmeña Sr., Zamboanga del Norte, and lived in the community, away from the comfort of their own home, for almost a year. Team Biayon aimed to assist the people promote their health and prevent illnesses, in a multidimensional level, through initiation of new strategies and/or by partnering with government and non-government agencies for the implementation and sustenance of planned solutions to address the health needs of the community.
